(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Terrorists targeted an oil pipeline with an explosive device in the vicinity of al-Jido station near Abu Hamam area in Deir Ezzor province, causing a fire to break out in the blast area.This particular line was targeted with explosives more than once within the past few months, with the most recent attack taking place on June 15th. Repair crews have begun repairs to restore services to the pipeline.A source at the Petroleum Ministry told that the pipeline is 12 inches in diameters and that it pumps crude oil from al-Tanek field to T2 station, noting that pumping operations were suspended as soon as the explosion took place, adding that the pipeline should be operational again the next few days./129
